Taraji P. Henson seems like GEAT casting for Janine’s mom on Abbott Elementary. She is also someone I’d love to see go toe-to-toe with Sheryl Lee Ralph AND Janelle James, so if she doesn’t in this episode (April 12), then I hope they can have her return. And not for nothing, Taraji does not waste a sidewalk. If she is going to walk in and out of a morning show, she will GO ALL OUT. Case in in point: She wore one of these walking INTO The View, CHANGED FOR THE SHOW, and then wore the other outfit here on her way out. She does not punt. She would go for it on fourth down even with half the field between her and the marker. Also: Taraji was not just talking about Abbott on The View. She also promoted a partnership between her foundation and Kate Spade to put mental health pods on HBCU campuses. Getting hella glam on your way in and out is a great way to make people look that up, and then write about it, so A+ execution there too, Taraji.
