I was bullish on Sydney’s wardrobe lately, and then Givenchy entered the chat. The top part isn’t awful, and the silhouette/concept — that being, as a real dress, not as deployed here as a glorified swimsuit coverup — is appealingly slouchy. But that fabric is an abomination and must be destroyed. You know that old stereotype about beginner knitters working on a sweater, and then they lift it up to show you and it’s distorted and completely the wrong shape? This skirt looks like that, but with somebody who thought they were making pantyhose.

I mean, this woman can WEAR CLOTHES. Now let’s please go back to giving her some.
