Did you watch the MTV Movie and TV Awards last night? I did not — in part because, since we already wrote about the red carpet, I kinda forgot it hadn’t actually aired yet. I suspect that not airing them live over the weekend was a mistake on MTV’s part, because a lot of potential viewers probably saw red carpet pics over the weekend and yesterday and thought it had already happened. I also think it’s possible that the real world (as opposed to The Real World) is such a garbage fire right now that this sort of fell under the radar for a lot of people. So what I’m saying is, I have no idea what any of these people said or did but we’ve got some folks who didn’t walk the red carpet, at least one outfit change, and Common in a cardigan to admire.
