The full quote from Stephane Rolland, over at WWD, is:

“I’m fed up with too much eccentricity, vulgarity, tacky attitudes. I have such love and respect for women that I feel I’m a guardian,” he said backstage before the show, describing the woman he wanted to portray as “free, beautiful, sensual without being aggressive.”

I’m not sure about that “I love women so much that I want to gatekeep them” energy. And I don’t know how that plays with a dress that shows off half the model’s labia. Is he basically just trying to start some shit with Thom Browne and Jeremy Scott?
