It was a fairly quiet Royal Week here at GFY, but gird your loins: Trump arrives in the UK for his State Dinner Etc on Monday, then Trooping the Colour is next weekend, plus we’ve got Royal Ascot hot on its heels. There will be ENSEMBLES AHOY.

There is A LOT of drama in this story, including him being removed from the line of succession (and also a very confusing statement from him, which I think must in part be a bad translation?).

At the Court Jeweller: A DOUBLE BROOCH DAY FOR THE QUEEN. Wow, that cut-and-pasted in all caps, and I kind of find that amusing, so I’m going to leave it! It’s exciting!

Lifetime ran their second Harry & Meghan movie this weekend and I admittedly forgot it was happening and did not watch it — we’re on a book deadline at the moment so I didn’t have time to recap it anyway (those recaps take a LOT of time). But rumor has it that it was not great! Feel free to chat about it in the comments here if you want!
