It’s not really fair to compare House of the Dragon and Rings of Power JUST because they are two big fantasy series debuting at around the same time, but… it’s also very hard not to, as I am already mixing up the very large and partly heretofore-unknown casts in my head. So, I’m curious which of the two you excites you most. I know it’s hard when Rings of Power is still an unknown quantity, but you’ll have plenty of time to GET to know it: When Amazon bought the rights in 2017, it apparently agreed to five seasons, which people estimate means it is pouring $1 billion into this sucker. If it flames out, at least Bezos can shoot himself into space and leave everyone else here to clean up the mess.
