Leaving aside that I think the jeans also look silly with the tweedy Ladies Who Lunch vibe of the rest of her outfit, everything about those pants demands a cropped pink leather jacket and a sky-high side half-ponytail. The billowy pelvic cut, the wide leg tapering to the ankle… yes, the wearer of these jeans has a lot of electric eye shadow palettes, owns four pairs of legwarmers, and cannot wait to see Teen Witch in the theaters.
I have asked this before, I’m sure, and will probably ask it again, but: Are we REALLY ready for this comeback? REALLY? For me, it’s clear eyes, full wallets, can’t lose.
