For Cate Blanchett’s second Venice re-wear, she picked a McQueen that SOMEHOW I correctly flagged for our WWCW slideshow, although she threw a few changes in there that are worth debating. I also almost picked the Esteban Cortezar she wore for the opening, but talked myself out of it, for what were clearly misguided reasons. I can’t really give myself points for that one, but emotionally, I’m feeling very attuned to her right now, and that’s not nothing.
