Erdem’s fall 2024 show was a tribute to Maria Callas, a subject on which I know nothing other than of her opera talent, so I can’t really weigh in on that. I guess specifically it’s an ode to her performance in Cherubini’s Medea? And that’s ALSO not in my wheelhouse. I’m just over here wondering how she’d feel about shoes that look like she stepped on an animal. The good news is, there are silhouettes and prints and colors in here to enjoy that have nothing to do with footwear.
