Two important things, before we get into the gallery of black outfits: First, Rihanna skipped the red carpet, and we don’t have any photos we can legally license of her Schiaparelli gown, but click and see the Getty photo because the cape is large. It was incredibly inconvenient of the Globes not to vote her the winner so that she’d have to go on-stage, or to the press room. (I’m not serious; I’m thrilled for the RRR guys that they won, and very annoyed that they got cut off so quickly after Jennifer Coolidge was given endless time to yammer pointlessly before presenting an award.) At LEAST have her present! Please consider the irritating logistical ins and outs of websites, HFPA! (Maybe they asked and she said no. Rihanna probably just wanted to drink at her table in peace. No shade.)
