I’ll be honest, I wasn’t even sure if David Harbour would attend this premiere. It’s been quite a week for that guy. His ex-wife Lily Allen’s new album excoriates him, and the Daily Mail claims Millie Bobby Brown accused him of bullying and harassment (that link goes to People) and only shot the final season with a minder/protector on set.
The Duffer brothers more or less mostly denied this, ish, but Brown and Harbour said nothing, opting instead to merrily pose together at the premiere like everything is fine. Brown also said a nice thing about how they’re lucky to have one another, which COULD be directly about him but could ALSO be about the entire group. The Duffers made it sound like where there is smoke, there is at LEAST a glowing ember or three if not an entire fire; we may never know. But this appearance does make me think that even if there is any iota of truth here, it wasn’t Brown’s choice or desire to leak it or anything in that vein, and therefore I hope whoever did it leaves her alone and minds their beeswax. And, if there is any iota of truth here, I hope it was her choice to do this and not something she was guilted into doing.
