You won’t be terribly surprised by the famous faces who showed up in Miami for Lionel Messi’s MLS debut. For me the shock was that MORE people didn’t take this opportunity for tickets and exposure. Look at how many celebs pretended to be die-hard Los Angeles Rams fans when they made and won the Super Bowl. People LOVE a sportsface opportunity. And they would’ve gotten to see Messi score the winning goal in overtime on a free kick that he bent not unlike Beckham, who — full circle — attended because he owns part of the team. Celebs, get your perks!
