I do not have a credit on this first dress, but it’s modest and 90s and flowy in a way I find appealing. I have a dress from Target that sort of reminds me of this one, and I bought it because I thought it was ugly in a way that I really liked — like the sartorial version of craving a sour candy. I don’t really think this dress is ugly, but it is appealing in a way that isn’t totally coherent. (Her cute shoes/glasses/hair are also working overtime to sell it.)

It’s by Andrew Gn, whom I love, but the sad truth is that it’s sort of hard to pull off a mini-skirt with a train unless you’re in the November Rain video — in which case, of course, carry on.
