Outlander doesn’t come back until November, so we have to sate ourselves while we can. Although, rare is the gent whom I love more when he’s dirty and sweaty and tousled, and may not have bathed in a while; yet in the great battle of Sam Heughan vs Red Jamie, my heart lies with the Scot who’s never known indoor plumbing. It’s probably because that’s the only thing I’ve ever seen him do, and I saw him as Jamie before I ever got a look at the actor behind him, so … you love what you know. But I also think it’s the hair. Both he and Cary Elwes as Westley the Farm Boy truly rule at giving seductive blue steel through a tousled mop.
