Once Upon a Time in Hollywood has a huge cast full of recognizable faces, and hasn’t quite yielded the gigantic gala premiere that I expected — like, they’re not all there at once, and some of them have skipped it entirely (Al Pacino, Dakota Fanning, Kurt Russell, etc). So this is the first one at which we’ve gotten Lena Dunham, and — to use a less obvious Hamilton reference — she did not erase herself from the narrative.
