Dear White People is a Netflix show that deals with race relations through the lens of black college students at an Ivy League school (it’s based on a 2014 film). Netflix’s atypical TV schedule — by which I mean, its habit of just birthing things into the world without even any courtesy contractions — results in me having no idea what’s new, old, still on, or cancelled, and I miss a ton of stuff altogether. This is back for its third season; I hadn’t even seen that it had a second, but it’s supposed to be great, so hooray. Anyway, Logan here is the lead. She is so beautiful — she has an amazing face — and this wacky outfit is REALLY distracting me from the rest of her. There are so many STRINGS. My throat is closing just LOOKING at that choker. And she’s got giant sleeve-bags. It is a heavy load for one starlet to carry.
Ashley Blaine Featherson is one of the cast members returning from the film. I LOVE the orange shoes playing off whatever is in her hair (it looks like flowers?), and the outfit is bright and cheery, but it’s smooshing the heck out of her chest.
And this is Antoinette Robinson, serving up a spandex-y tie-dye turtleneck mini. The angle of the photo means that it looks like her right boob has inflated well past the left one’s cup size, but beyond that weird illusion, she’s pulling that off really well. Her head looks great, and even with a loud dress, that’s what I keep coming back to — which to me is a styling job well done, because she is shining.
