First, a PSA: The John Lithgow season of Trial & Error was a joy, so binge it. Kristin Chenoweth is the defendant in season two, and she’s also turning 50. And of COURSE Cheno is spending that day in pink stretchy boots and an Ariana Grande t-shirt, and a tan that looks like she brushed an egg wash over her face and then baked herself at 375 for half an hour. This all seems right. Because as much as I love Kristin “I lit my hair extensions on fire while vomiting into a toilet that had a candle on top of it” Chenoweth, in many ways she is the human embodiment of Ariana Grande’s high ponytail: shiny as hell, perky AT ALL COSTS, and perenially twelve.
