I’m not sure if Nicole, Lena, and Emilia were all invited to the American Songbook Awards because there is some HBO connection — all three women have jobs with that channel — or because they just… really love America, and songs, and books, and I guess also awards. (And I think Keith performed.) Regardless, they make for intriguing bedfellows, and some of them look quite good.
