This is one of Kate’s usual events — she’s a longtime supporter of the Cub Scouts, which seems like a good fit given the…outdoorsiness of it all, and the Scouts are celebrating 100 years at the moment — and, as usual, she rolled up looking very casual, but nice. Like when you’re running errands but you know there’s a good chance you’re going to see your ex in the check-out line at World Market. (Which is correct. You don’t want to show up to make cupcakes with Scouts in a dress and heels.)
(Her sweater, if you care, is from The Outnet, and it’s an exclusive to them, which means my fantasies in which Kate is sitting around spending her feelings online in the middle of the night are clearly true.)
As usual with events like these, we have a ton of good stuff from royals reporters’ social media. This is particularly cute:

They all, I assume, are solemnly swearing they are up to no good.
