Kate was in The Other Woman, as the second of two “other women” to Leslie Mann, and she’s, you know, someone who can say words? Her performance was totally functional and met the minimum height that it needed to meet. I thought maybe that was that for her, but then VOILA: Some rom-com called The Layover, which I just saw a poster for today, and… well. Suffice to say that it was the inspiration for something we are going to start next week, in which we gritch about ridiculous movie advertising. Jessica said, “Surely that’s straight-to-video…?” EVIDENTLY NOT. Which means I guess I’ll have to wait to see it on a plane in six months.
