Karen Pittman is beautiful and I missed her on And Just Like That, even though her actual character never went anywhere. As a presence, she has a warm energy. She is promoting The Morning Show in a dress that’s almost better befitting of the AJLT universe, because it’s crackers. It’s designed to look like she got bored taking it off. It’s not a dress; it’s an undress.
All I imagine when I see this is hurrying to leave the house then being jerked backward because one of the loops roped around a doorhandle. I see catastrophe where other people see FASHION, I suppose. Carrie Bradshaw would definitely wear this, though, she would definitely have fallen over when her dress lassoed something unwelcome.
This is the kind of experimentation I can get behind. I don’t know if the colors work, but they are lively. The legs are legging. The sunnies are making everyone look hotter. And in a second she’ll tug on something that fixes the gapping in the button area that probably went rogue on her while she was sitting down, and all will be well.
