The gang got back together to celebrate the opening of Downton Abbey: The Exhibition (which I know at least one Fug National has seen, as we’ve been informed that there is no Gutenberg Bible to be found, and which I very much hope will make it to Los Angeles). What a DELIGHT it is to see our old friends again; I think my favorite part about this entire picture is that it looks like Michelle Dockery decided to come in costume as Elderly Lady Mary in 1963. It is a RELIEF but not a surprise to know that Lady Mary embraces that era’s mod-meets-flapper look with tremendous elan, and I assume she is on AT LEAST her sixth husband. (With apologies to Matthew Goode, whom I assume she’s married at least two of those times.)
