I decided I actually just want to see a movie where the Mandalorian, young Princess Margaret, Eddie from Stranger Things, and Richie from The Bear have a very very weird adventure. (Margaret will hate all these people.) Instead, we’ve got the press tour for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, where all of these likable actors have suddenly become unable to look at the same camera at the same time in group shots. (Seriously, like 99% of these group shots from this event in my Getty subscription are just like this, and they also had this issue on Tuesday.)
I do not expect these folks to be coordinated, but it’s also funny — on top of the above — how they all also look like they’re going to different events, so the overall vibe is kind of People Waiting For Public Transportation Next to Each Other. Like, Vanessa looks fantastic and is going to a gala at a modern art museum. Pedro is your local kooky professor of sculpture and he’s going to a book party. Joseph is attending the studio’s quarterly luncheon and he really doesn’t want to go because he’s got some spreadsheets to do but he knows has to network, even though budgeting his is true passion. And Ebon fell through a worm hole in the fabric of space and time from 1973 and he’s got A LOT to catch up on.
