Lord of the Rings is not done with us yet. Amazon has now made Ring of Power, a prequel that covers the rise of Sauron, and my favorite part of the Wikipedia page is, “These events take place over thousands of years in Tolkien’s original stories but are condensed for the series.” I mean, I HOPE so, but by LOTR standards, “condensed for the series” could easily mean “we whittled that baby down to 20 seasons, tops.” Between this and all the gibberish names from House of the Dragon, I cannot keep anything straight, but I’ll try? At any rate, there is a delightful ending to this slideshow, mark my words.
