First of all, sorry for making you wait a bit for this; Heather and I are still in London and I’ve only just gotten back to our flat. But if you follow us on Instagram, you saw that we popped over to Buckingham Palace today and actually saw everyone lining up to get into this garden party. It was quite logistically interesting; I wanted to steal someone’s page of Garden Party Instructions. Instead, I went and bought some mugs.
So get to discussing! Meghan has gotten Very Duchess-y for this event — hose (this is not, of course, the first time she’s worn hose; she tends to wear it at events where there will be senior royals present), and a dress by Kate’s trusty and beloved Goat, which actually is still for sale (as I type this), and also comes in black, which I might have liked better although not for this event. (Also as I type this, the Goat site itself keeps going down, which tells you all you need to know about Meghan’s popularity right now.)
