I appreciate the brightness of this outfit, and how well Hailee is wearing the color. But why is everything just a little bit… off? It’s just enough so that you notice things are wonky, but not so much that it feels like a clear and cool design statement. The pants feel messy baggy, and the top is messy askew. She looks like a newfangled highlighter that someone bought and then realized it’s been designed to be held by feet. Not every wheel needs to be reinvented just for the sake of it; round works just fine.
