This is admittedly a bit dated-feeling. I’d expect to see it on, say, Jane Fonda in 9 to 5. And to say I’m not a jumpsuit person is a subterranean understatement. But am I crazy, or is Gwyneth working this mild funk? Her vibe is a lot more chill these days, and a little bit endearingly goofy, which I think is probably in part a way to offset that GOOP the company is completely loony and a blight. (It’s easier to forgive a goober for telling you to shove a jade egg up your vagina.) But she also seems to be in a good, relaxed place, and accordingly, that’s a good, relaxed outfit on her.
Okay, I kind of wish she’d go back to the Sliding Doors cut and darken her eyebrows a hair, but that’s just because I can never NOT pick at SOMETHING. It’s an achievement enough that I’m signing off on the outfit as a whole.
