Longtime readers know that Heather and I have this VERY long-running joke that George Clooney is our intern, who absolutely NEVER shows up to work and does nothing useful for us AT ALL and that’s why I’m about to note that maybe if he had been here, he would have told me that my headline rhymes and I would have snapped, “I KNOW, GEORGE,” and then he would have been like, “maybe the reason I never come into work is because you’re so mean,” and flounced out and stayed away for another decade.
