It’s a bit more of a Blooming Shrubbery of Stern Disapproval, no? From this angle I really don’t care for it, right down to the stripey belt — which might be my problem. Bold and brave accessories are fine, and all, but to me this too severely chops up the dress. It’s not gentle enough. This needed a caress, not a bitch-slap.
From this angle? Breezy and pretty, the belt isn’t giving me a headache, and I can see the fun pink flower on the side. Apparently Tyra Banks is right: knowing your angles IS most of the battle. I should never have doubted the Gospel According To Miss Tyra. And I never will again.
