We just saw Elle’s Chanel look — surprisingly successful, although Elle and her stylist Samantha McMillen are always great at Cannes, so perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised! — but she snuck in a few other looks in France this weekend. This is like elegant cheesecloth, and I continue to think Elle should teach a class called This Should Wash Me Out But Doesn’t: Learn From Me.
I did have a long moment where I thought this might actually be a jumpsuit and I’m sort of sorry it isn’t. That would have been kicky.
Definitely pants here, though.
I don’t love those shoes, but I do love the idea of Elle starring in a female-focused reboot of Miami Vice, co-starring Zendaya, so let’s get right on that.
