Five years ago, this was a scrolldown for us. Zendaya the Great is superb from the neck up, as you might expect. And the pattern of this dress really works on her. But the cut is strangely shapeless and an awkward no-man’s-land of a length, and then those SHOES. She was 19 here, but the vibe is of your cranky older neighbor who shuffled outside with her morning coffee to shoo an overly inquisitive squirrel off her lawn, and then accidentally trod on it. Honestly, swap out the shoes and belt this, and we might be having a different conversation, but for now: VOTE! VOTE AS IF YOUR DAY DEPENDS ON IT.
