This one might be a reverse scrolldown for me. I don’t typically respond to the crinkled look, but something about the execution here — possibly with an assist from the fabric — makes it very intriguing. It FEELS deliberate and almost sculptural, especially the way it builds to the bottom. But then her hair looks like she braided her hair after four days on Survivor, and I don’t like the slip style of top with lace-trimmed triangles and slim straps. That’s never my cup of tea, though; I keep thinking this would sing more if it were strapless and straight across — or even if it had a small sleeve — but I need you guys to help me determine if I’m crazy and simply can’t see through my own bias. Do I, indeed, have my own peaky blinders on?!?!?… Fine, okay, I know that doesn’t make sense, but I can never resist a stupid joke.
