It’s nice to see Rey back in action. I just saw John Williams conducting his own scores at the Hollywood Bowl, and he told a story about how he agreed to do the second of the new movies after seeing dailies from the first, and deciding he couldn’t stand the idea of anyone else writing music for Rey. I hope he told her that, because that’s the sort of compliment you can take to the grave and feel like you lived a full life.
Speaking of graves:
She’s lovely in this, but it also does look like something the local madam would wear to bury one of her bordello’s longtime regulars.
