On this, the second day of Chanukah and the Eve of Christmas, please bask in the loveliness of a model who emerged this year as one of our favorites. Halima was the first pageant contestant to wear a burkini and a hijab in competition when she entered Miss Minnesota USA, and she was also the first hijab-wearing model to: a) be signed to a major agency and walk in international shows; b) cover Vogue Arabia, Allure, and British Vogue; and c) appear in Sports Illustrated. Her commitment to color and pattern are a habitual bright spot in our work weeks.
