2019 has been a ride. But one delightful thing occurred: A great number of celebrities decided to attend red carpet events dressed as what we here at GFY call Sexy Tootsie, AKA, in a variation on the famous red sequined gown that Dustin Hoffman wore as the titular role in Tootsie, a movie you should see if you’ve never seen it. This will give you youngs the gist, though:
Let’s decide which of 2019’s Sexy Tootsies was the best, shall we? I did my best to get all Sexy Tootsies, but I’m sure at least one Sexy Tootsie slipped through the cracks. In terms of methodology, the frock needed to be in the red family at least (a blue Sexy Tootsie is really just a great sequined dress), and otherwise I just used my own Sexy Tootsie Radar. Enjoy!
