It’s not that I mind the suit here; I think it’s a funky pick for The Wasp, with the ruffles evoking little satiny wings. (It looked pretty on the runway, too, where you can see it a bit more clearly.) But her makeup and hair are so… dominating. Underneath the smile, she looks EXHAUSTED. Exhibit B:

Don’t most makeup artists have tricks to avoid looking like you’re super jet-lagged, or like you spent your entire flight getting free drinks and watching Game Night on the seatback system? If she’s not fatigued, they whiffed, and if she is then they exacerbated it.

Fan Meet and Greet for Ant-Man and the Wasp

The hair is not much better. It looks so… plonked, like a bad wig. Now, I love wigs, but I also don’t want my hair to look like it’s a wig unless it actually IS one.
