Emma Stone has an one Oscar nod — for Birdman, in the supporting category — and the strong likelihood of netting a second, this time as Lead Actress, for La La Land. That’s a lot to have under her belt before she’s even hit 29 (much less 30). So what better time to look back at very nearly all her red-carpet hits and misses? It’s fascinating to see her grow and change along the way. There are some wonderful highs here I’d forgotten about, and also some uncharacteristic crazy lows, but there’s consistency too: in her adveturous fashion spirit, and that impish glint in her eye.
