Kate and Cambridge 3.0 had a busy day today: After the morning’s Conclave of the KPs, she changed clothes and dashed out through a snowstorm to the National Portrait Gallery, of which she’s a patron. For the occasion, she trotted out a new Orla Kiely dress that is very… fussy and quasi-Victorian in parts, and of course has the kind of ruffle hem that turns my heart cold. I honestly was going to guess it was Erdem. All that said, I don’t hate it and I am so pleased she is still playing with patterns. We can discuss it more in the slideshow, obviously, but let’s first note that What Kate Wore tweeted a prior sighting of this Resort 2018 frock via the Orla Kiely Instagram account:
I assume this means that Kate, too, is destined to become best friends with Roseanne and then possibly also star on Roseanne. I cannot wait.
