It’s funny that this piece is for The Romance Issue of Cosmopolitan, because there isn’t an overwhelming focus on romance in the piece at all. If you want to be abstract about it, maybe it’s her love affair with her art? Anyway, there’s something close to a chest-thumping confidence to this cover shot, which is good, but something about it feels claustrophobic and like even she is trying to pull back away from us a little. We were only allowed to use two additional images, but there are tons more in the story; I’m curious if any of them strike you as a better pick.
