Emayatzy Corinealdi and Michael Ealy are both in Reasonable Doubt, the Kerry Washington-produced (and occasionally directed) Hulu series about “the most brilliant and fearless defense attorney in Los Angeles who bucks the justice system at every chance she gets,” a description on IMDb that could apply to MANY if not all TV shows about defense attorneys. Variety, however, called it “soapy” and sometimes Soapy With Hot People is all you need. And I just need to note that I think Emayatzy Corinealdi might have Resting Mildly Unimpressed With This Guy Face, which cracks me up. She and Ealy apparently have good chemistry on screen, but here she has a very slight aura of “ugh, this guy.” I like it.
And her dress is a PARTY:
I would perhaps not have invited those EXACT shoes when you’ve got so many other options, but I’m not going to spoil said party by actually complaining about it. Have fun, y’all!
