As Heather said yesterday, I also had NO MEMORY of The Old Guard – which makes sense when you realize, as she noted, that it came out in July 2020. I was having a complete mental breakdown in July 2020 and also our book was coming out that month so I was….just really white-knuckling it!!!!!! (Also, the way I remember movies at this point is like, “oh, right, that’s the one where So-and-So wore a bucket as a skirt!” and of course, this did not have a big premiere.) Anyway, it sounds like it was pretty fun, so hopefully its sequel will prompt more people who, like me, were preoccupied LOSING IT, to get into it. Speaking of, let’s look at the clothes people got into for the premiere last night. What a great segue that was, right? I’ve still got it!!!!!!!
