In which Cate Blanchett appears in a gritty reboot of The Flying Nun — a show that I confess I’ve never seen because I am, for once, too young (and my mom thought it was “dopey” and wouldn’t let me watch the reruns) but come on; you get the gist. Sally Field is a nun who can…fly? I assume shenanigans abounded. Except this time, “The Flying Nun” is the name of the directional fashion line she designs while juggling her complicated personal life, crummy ex-husband, and the ill-advised deal she made with a cartel to fund her failing business. This fall, on HBO!
