I’ve seen ads for this movie, in which Will Arnett copes with divorce by turning to stand-up comedy, and it just sort of looked like a weird sadsack situation. But people say it’s good? Bradley Cooper directed based on a script he and Arnett worked on with another person, and Boop also appears in it as Arnett’s best friend. A character they have named… Balls. Which is not doing anything to disabuse me of my concern that this is a whole lotta dude navelgazing, which is fine and allowed and all, but I might not care. We’ll see! Peyton Manning is also in it, but NOT as himself. Although is he ever not playing himself?
