The Carol Burnett Show turns 50 this year, and while I know the list of Carol Burnett Moments of Brilliance is long and rich and most of them are from that program, I can’t help it: Every time I see her, she is Miss Hannigan, cutting a boozy swath through a surprisingly fun-looking orphanage and snuggling a radio with her bathtub gin. And “Sign” with Albert Finney is perfect. I defy anyone to find a better Miss Hannigan. Spoiler: You can’t.
