I’ll be up front and say: No, I don’t think anyone can get me into palazzo pants. These particular ones are an oddity because on the runway, they did at least have a slouchy-cool feel, and were paired with a glittery bodice. Somehow ditching the sparkle brings it down a notch, but the other problem is that the pants clearly had to be cinched for her, right? And it’s making them so bunchy as to look like she’s got a codpiece in play. And THEN, with the runway illusion shattered, I back out even further and the proportions of the pants with the jacket become crazy unflattering. I get why the world wants Gal Gadot to put on a Wonder Woman leotard one more time, but that should not enable bad pants. NEVER ENABLE BAD PANTS.
