Okay, so in trying to look up who designed this dress, I discovered that Caitlin FitzGerald (who I loved on Masters of Sex, and who also was once extremely lovely and nice when I interviewed her at Fashion Week) is apparently dating Aidan Turner AKA Poldark. I discovered this on Instagram, because NEITHER of these otherwise pleasant people have a “personal life” section on their Wikipedias, an omission which should be punishable by law. (In attempting to confirm this romantical gossip, I fell down a wormhole where I discovered that Caitlin’s grandfather was a CIA officer who tried to kill Castro via the Daily Mail, and then down ANOTHER wormhole where I figured out that the Mail was totally wrong about this because they’re bad at math/confirming things over there. But it was quite a ride!)
ANYWAY. It is Chloe, and we saw it at the beginning of the summer on Sienna Miller, and I liked it then and I like it now, and I continue to be kinda entertained that everyone seems ever so slightly lost as to what shoes to wear with it. Do I like it $3500 worth? I mean, come back to me after I win the Lottery, I guess.
