Hey look, it’s Agyness Deyn opening Burberry! I almost didn’t recognize her without the signature punk flair of her runway heyday, and I’m glad to see her. It’s also nice when a Fall/Winter 2024 show gives us clothes we can imagine wanting to wear in fall and/or winter — I mean, irrespective of whether you LIKE them, people do need warmth more than they need diaphanous gowns. Burberry is apparently in some financial trouble and Daniel Lee has not been able to right the ship yet, not even with the Ludicrously Capacious Bag that featured on Succession. Some of the more practical coats in here might help, but… surely not the pants that can zip open vertically from thigh to shin?!?
