I didn’t think a lot of designers did big fashion shows for their pre-fall collections. I know occasionally cruise or resort will yield a big splashy affair, usually with Chanel, but Pre-Fall to me always felt more like an in-between photo shoot sort of affair. Donatella Versace has decided otherwise, though, and threw a big splashy event with a big splashy guest list that even drew Diane Kruger back out of hiding (she just had a baby, but had also been keeping it extremely low-key throughout her pregnancy). It is a JOURNEY. Let us take it together.
