Balenciaga figured out that the quickest way to affirm that you’re back in people’s good graces is to come to Los Angeles, throw a runway show that it’s easy for so many of them to attend because so many of them either live there or were in town for the Academy Gala, and hand out a LOT of tights, coats, and sunglasses.
