Confession: I haven’t read Tales of the City, and I never saw the original miniseries with Laura Linney (nor the sequels). Should I? This version is a continuation, with most of the same people, and a Victor Garber sighting (per Wikipedia). I LIKE all of these humans, but it feels like maybe I should start at the beginning if I’m going to start at all? Thoughts? Also, I almost just told you that I’m glad to see Laura Linney because I was upset that her Shonda show For The People got cancelled, but… yeah, I watched every episode and yet still today mixed her up with Hope Davis. Whoops.
